What to Wear and Bring
Please note that, given the current health situation and guidance, sharing of equipment will be kept to a bare minimum, so please come self-sufficient:
- Make sure you bring along your Fell Running Association (FRA) mountain running kit – fell-running shoes, whistle, waterproof coat with hood, waterproof trousers, hat and gloves in a bumbag are a minimum.
- Something to eat and drink while out on the walk/run, whatever works for you.
- If you want to navigate along, feel free to bring your map and compass. We’ll be using the Harveys Mourne Mountains 1:25000 map.
- Spare change of clothes for when you return in case weather is bad.
Also note that social distancing measures will be in place throughout. As government guidelines do not allow indoor activities, all briefings and debriefs will be held outside: https://www.mountain-training.org/latest-news/course-providers-operating-in-northern-ireland
Please note that, so that we can get everyone’s individual medical and emergency contact details, only one place can be purchased at a time i.e. If you are buying three places, you’ll have to make three separate payments. We apologise for the inconvenience but want to make sure we’re all safe and sound out there!
