Want to go for a walk or run in the Mourne Mountains but have no idea where to go? We’re more than happy to bring you on an adventure, of a length and at a time of your choosing! Let a local show you hidden trails as well as hear all about the range’s history.
Location: Mourne Mountains
Time: At a time or date that suits you, a run of max 3-4 hours.
What to Wear and Bring
- If you want to run, make sure you bring along your Fell Running Association (FRA) mountain running kit – fell-running shoes, whistle, waterproof coat with hood, waterproof trousers, hat and gloves in a bumbag are a minimum.
- If you’re walking, bring proper footwear (boots/approach shoes), technical trouser/shorts, top, spare layer, waterproof coat, waterproof trousers, hat and gloves. No cotton allowed!
- Something to eat and drink while out on the walk/run, whatever works for you.
- If you want to navigate along, feel free to bring your map and compass. We’ll be using the Harveys Mourne Mountains 1:25000 map.

Please note that, so that we can get everyone’s medical and emergency contact details, only one course place can be purchased at a time i.e. If you are buying two places, you’ll have to make two separate payments.
